Montreal Private Tours and Montreal Small Group Tours

Montreal Tours and Experiences Hosted by Local Experts

We're obsessed with Montreal. Food, history, architecture.... this is a dizzyingly deep city to sink one's teeth into. For first-time travelers, we heartily recommend our Old Montreal guided tour with a historian, which is a great way to get introduced to Montreal. Want to dive deeper? Then our Quebecois Culture Tour will take you into East Montreal to learn about Quebec nationalism. We also offer a unique look at the immigrant history of the city on our Multicultural Montreal Tour. Among our most popular private tours is our Montreal Food Tour, which visits the Marché Jean Talon.

Charlotte was an amazing guide. She was professional, on time, and extremely knowledgeable. She has this innate ability of sharing with us a comprehensive context of Montreal's history weaving in storytelling elements, while highlighting to us architectural and artistic features on the various buildings during our walk. Our time with her was so enjoyable time simply flew by. Highly recommend for anyone who's interested in learning more about Montreal.
My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed our private tour. We will always remember the story of the English bulldog and the French poodle.
Three of us (my parents, F77 & M81 and me, F56) did the private tour of Montreal with Charlotte, on a sunny, chilly day in March. Although we have different appetites for history, we all had a wonderful time. When Charlotte told us she had been a teacher, principal and museum docent, we knew we were in good hands. From the beginning, she made sure to understand our backgrounds and areas of interest, and it was clear she customized parts of the tour and talk for us. We learned a lot about the history of the city, from its initial days as a trading post for furs and other natural resources, through many different periods and powers. She talked about the economy, cultural diversity, and architecture as well. We enjoyed the story of the great Montreal bagel rivalry, as we are big fans of both bakers, as well as the insight she provided regarding the separatists and the French/English conflict that exists to this day. Knowing the broader history helped us better understand why things are as they are. Charlotte is knowledgeable, personable and a great storyteller. Whether you are a tourist, or a lifelong Montrealer, you’re sure to learn something and have a wonderful time.
